When I was first diagnosed with PTSD, I learned some of the more conventional ways of handling panic attacks. After a little practice, they worked pretty well, but one day I discovered that I could feel better faster if I just got up and started exercising strenuously. Since then, I’ve come to think of panic attacks as aerobic opportunities.
