Micro-VCoL Maker Demo is live on LecticaLive!

As you may know, my colleagues and I are on a mission to change the focus of education from learning for correctness to building robust and agile minds. The key to making this shift is building curricula and learning tools that allow students to learn the way the brain is designed to learn — through micro-VCoLing in the Goldilocks zone.
As a step toward realizing the mission, we’ve created a demo of our new learning tool — the Micro-VCoL Maker™. The demo is focused on emotional awareness and written for middle and high school students but can also benefit novices of any age. We’re sharing it under a Creative Commons Attribution License.
The demo Maker is designed to function as an easy introduction to micro-VCoLing as a practice. Activities created with the maker increase emotional awareness while building and habituating some of the most basic micro-VCoLing skills.
The demo will be followed in a few months by a Micro-VCoL Maker app. The app will offer several starter sets (sets of situation awareness, skill awareness, and skill practice Makers) representing a range of micro-VCoLing skills and diverse skill areas.
